On September 24, the first celebration was held at the Tbilisi Acres site, marking the launch of construction for the first self-sufficient neighborhood in Tbilisi.
The goal of the event was to bring people to the site, where they could better appreciate the project’s unique location, landscape, and impressive panoramic views, and to introduce them to its future design firsthand.
The event itself fully reflected the concept and character of the neighborhood of the future. Through an impressive high-tech show, with innovative renderings and animations, guests were introduced to the project’s vision, design, and architecture directly on site.
The event featured a musical program with performances by internationally acclaimed Georgian artists and symphony orchestra musicians, including Lela Mchedlidze, first violinist of the Opera Camerata and the Opera Theater; cellist Lizi Ramishvili; jazz pianist Luka Topuria; outstanding new-generation artist Temuriko Diasamidze; Bibicha; and Beka Gochiashvili, a musician who gained international recognition at the age of 11.
The musical program blended several genres — classical, jazz, and electronic — and was dedicated to the future of Tbilisi’s urban and social development, highlighting the importance of Tbilisi Acres for the city.
The musicians reinvented traditional Tbilisi melodies, improvising on familiar tunes to symbolize the city’s transformation while preserving its essence. Guests were also treated to fascinating historical insights about Tbilisi.
The event was attended by around 500 people, including future residents, project contributors from various fields, as well as the creators of the project, architecture, and brand — all those playing a role in the successful construction of the first self-sufficient neighborhood.
At the end of the event, a 200-square-meter flag featuring the Tbilisi Acres logo and main identity was flown in the sky by drone.
Tbilisi Acres is located between Vake and Saburtalo, on the road to Napetvrebi, just two minutes from University Street. It brings together all the functions essential for modern life — residential, educational, cultural, sports, social, and recreational spaces — within one self-sufficient neighborhood.
Specifically for Tbilisi Acres, a new alternative road is planned, providing a direct connection from Vake to the neighborhood while easing the load on the city’s road network.
Tbilisi Acres recently launched its first campaign with the message “Tbilisi is Expanding,” emphasizing that through this project the city is developing in the right and healthy direction.
The project is managed by Anagi’s subsidiary, Anagi Collab, which provides real estate services to investors and developers and seeks to advance Georgia’s construction sector by supporting innovative projects like Tbilisi Acres.
