Given the difficult situation in the country, Forbes Georgia has decided to postpone event.
Georgian business community is aware of Forbes Gala Reception & Dinner 2019, as they have already received relevant invitations. According to Forbes format, along with the traditional reception, it envisages naming year’s Outstanding Businessman and winners of Forbes’ other nominations. Our special project 30under30 is scheduled at the prestigious Gala Reception. Forbes nominates and compiles a list of young leaders under the age of 30 in various fields and business industries.
Given the difficult situation in the country, Forbes Georgia has decided to postpone this event. The situation and mood in the business community already had been hard, but yesterday’s incident – the tragic death of Luke Siradze – reinforced our decision. Our deep condolences to the family, friends and relatives of the deceased teenager. We hope that this tragic event will be the last one, which elucidates dark side of the system and it will be followed by the fundamental systemic reforms. We consider, that private sector can make a fortune and operate responsibly merely in the legal environment.
