The Independent, British online newspaper published the list of nine European wines, which according to the author`s opinion will help UK to “survive” a Brexit. There are two Georgian wines in a list – Orovela Saperavi 2008 and Iberiuli Kisi qvevris orange wine 2017.
The article notes that Georgia has an ancient tradition of winemaking, which stretches back to Neolithic times.

Georgia exports a limited amount of wine to United Kingdom. In the first five months of the year, Georgia exported 33.2,000 liters of wine to the UK. Britain is ranked 20th among the top importers of Georgian wine.
